A woman has died following a collision in Stretford.
\nPolice were called shortly after 10pm on Friday 9 September 2016 to reports of a collision between a blue Volkswagen Golf and a pedestrian at the junction of Chester Road and Green Street.
\nA woman in her 50s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed.
\nA 33-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
\nThe Chester Road and Edge Lane southbound are closed. The southbound carriageway on Barton Road is also closed while officers carry out enquiries.
