An anonymous note has been left paying tribute to the Good Samaritans of Manchester city centre. It appears someone took a nasty tumble on the cobbles by the canal towpath in Castlefield last week, suffering serious facial injuries. A number of people came to the rescue and got the victim into a taxi to hospital.
